I have just installed today's build (5) and I am afraid it makes no difference to me.
Below the heading "Local Albums" I still get a blank screen.
I am using iCloud Photo Library.
I have used Settings / iCloud / Photos to enable this library.
If I use WhatsApp to choose photos it offers me the choice of "Photo Library" and within the "Albums" option it lists All Photos, Panoramas, Videos, Favorites etc.
Steve, if you want more guidance, just ask!

By the way, did anything else change in build (5)?

Hello,
Well that's unfortunate to hear. I have no idea why it's not loading your local albums. WhatsApp uses a different thing for loading images -- I'm using ALAssetsLibrary.
Is anyone else having this issue?
Also, what device are you using?
What was changed in build 5 (I'll post this in the beta app as well):
- Upload images from other local albums
- Fix for thumbnail flash (white flash)
- Sorting local images by newest first - this is now default
- Keeps www in the server url
- Fixed a bug where you couldn't dynamically load other albums when you want to change its image representation
- Image detail doesn't show the TabBar, giving the whole screen to the image itself

Actually, try this:
Go to Settings -> Privacy -> Photos -> Scroll to Piwigo
This should be checked on.
If it is, turn it off, launch piwigo, go to local albums. Kill the Piwigo app (double home press), go back to the privacy setting and turn it back on. Then launch Piwigo again and see if that fixes it. :)

After Uploading from an local Album the Piwigo iOS Preview keeps to show an empty Piwigo Album.

No luck, I am afraid.
I have tried with my iPhone 6 and iPad Air and now a new install on my wife's iPhone 5.
It said "Piwigo would like to access your photos" OK

Are you saying after you upload an image, then go back to the "Albums" tab, the image on the album is empty, or the whole album is empty? You can pull down to refresh an album, does that fix it?

This is weird. I have no idea what's causing this or how to reproduce it to fix it. I'm considering looking into a new way to select multiple images from the phone.
Sorry about this!

Don't worry too much. I understand and I'm sure you'll work it out.
Are you programming over Easter? Shall I carry on testing and reporting?
PS did you consider my "top line"?

Hello. I think I have the same issue: when I want to upload pictures from local album of my iPhone I do not see all pictures of this album. I wonder if this is due to the cloud option: only small size copy of pictures are kept on the iPhone memory. Any way to sort this out?

Hi Jcc,
Are you browsing the "My Photo Stream" album?
