Hello
could you be more specific about what you did?

Re: [resolved] being redirected to install.php - help site down

Hi,

Sure as far as I can , I downloaded the plugin statistics_2.7a and unzipped on my desktop.

I then used the gui for my websites file manager (should have used filezilla!!) to upload the directory to the website.

Now I copied the whole directory structure, so this may actually be a red herring. Into the plugins ready to install it.

I then tried to connect to my website & it took me straight to the install.php link which showed the page to re-install piwigo.

Concerned I renamed to the install.php to make sure it didn't get run.

I then removed the statistics files i'd uploaded, but the problem persisted.

What file does the install.php check to see if there is a installed system (from searches is this ./include/mysql.inc.php ??) as all I can assume is that this files is deleted/corrupted

If so I'll copy this up from the backup.

As alaways thanks for any assistance

Re: [resolved] being redirected to install.php - help site down

what is your piwigo version? that file is no more used

if you just uploaded the folder of statistics_2.7a into /plugins of your distant piwigo, you just have to remove it but the error sounds more like a biggest mistake ; let's start by removing the plugin and then we will see

Re: [resolved] being redirected to install.php - help site down

The plugin directories for statistics have been removed, was the first thing I tried.

It's the latest version of piwigo

I'm keen to try and understand what is causing the redirect to install.php when I try to access the index.php file.

Thanks

Bingo, flop25 you are a star, local/config was missing, restored from the backup & website is up and running.

It must have been deleted when I was trying to clean up the statistics files.

Thanks again for the ace support !
