Hello!

I'm using a very (inexpertly) edited version of the stripped theme. I've noticed that none of my full-size images are indexed in google. Album thumbnails are indexed.
Is this because stripped does not add image alt text?
If so, how would I go about adding it?

Does anyone have any ideas on this?
I really don't want to edit another theme just for this purpose, if there's a way around it.

I'm not sure I understand the question correctly, but some of your full size image pages are being indexed, just after the categories if you list all links indexed for your website.

It may be so that not all of them are indexed yet, or maybe there's some difference in your setup for those (indexed) images and the others?

You may also try the Piwigo "Sitemap" plugin and then linking that sitemap to Google through the webmaster tools.

Thanks a lot for your reply.
What I'd noticed from a Google image search was that it seems many of my thumbnails have been indexed but very few of the full size images, except those you mentioned.
It's possible that the settings are somehow different for those images, though I'm not sure how. I'll look into it, and the sitemap.

Okay,
I recreated my sitemap using the plugin and resubmitted it to Google webmaster tools a few weeks ago. I had stupidly not signed in for some time and noticed when I did that the number of indexed pages had been dropping since around March 2015. I don't have an explanation for this but they have started to be reindexed now which is a good sign.

However, still no full-size images are being indexed. Except for the two that previously showed in a Google image search for "site:annajanephoto.com"

Does anyone have any idea why? Why those two full-size images and many thumbnails are being indexed but no others?
