'How to backup' page in the documentation

Hello,

I am fairly sure that, to backup Piwigo, one need only save the 'local' and 'upload' directories, and a database dump. Is this correct?

I tried looking in the wiki, but couldn't find anything. I was just wondering if it'd be possible to add a page to the wiki about how to backup.

Piwigo version: 2.7.4
PHP version:
MySQL version:

Re: 'How to backup' page in the documentation

Hi samwilson,

On the upgrade guide you can find some details about what to backup:

* galleries: where you send photos manually (FTP or direct copy) and sync
* upload: where Piwigo automatically stores photos you send with web form or remote apps
* plugins: where you can have a "personal plugin" (otherwise it's useless to back it up)
* template-extension: where you can have some personal templates
* local: where Piwigo stores your database settings, configuration, watermarks, banners, custom CSS

And of course, dump your database everyday :-)

Thanks plg, that's terrific info. :) I've updated my backup script accordingly.
