Modifying Default Theme

Hello/Hi/Greetings,

My first post HERE set the table for most of what I'm asking.  I'm working on integrating Piwigo into my current site--and it works well-- and now am on the road towards reformatting some of the gallery/thumbnail presentation, resizing fonts, better spacing, etc.

My main question is WHICH template files should I be looking at?  Mainpage_categories seems to be one, but there may be more.  Ideally, I'm trying to strip out a lot of the redundant CSS in favor of a streamlined version already used in my main site.  BUT, I fear I may be undermining Piwigo if I go too far without guidance.

As before, any and all help is appreciated!

Piwigo version: 2.74
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.5.47
Piwigo URL: http://localhost  dev server

Re: Modifying Default Theme

OK, now this is too much:

Somehow, just before my head closes, this shows up in my head (I included the closing tag to show its position):

Code:

<style type="text/css">
.thumbnailCategory .illustration{ width: 149px; } .content .thumbnailCategory .description{ height: 149px; }</style>
</head>

I'm working the CSS over, but this is clearly something generated and inserted by the Piwigo script, no?  I'm at a loss...

Can someone point me SOMEWHERE?

Re: Modifying Default Theme

YES!  Thank you!

I never looked there, because it seemed that the header was where that code lay.  Interesting that it works there--and appropriate!

Still working on a suitable complete incorporation of piwigo into my current site...playing with different themes, trying to understand the architecture...thanks for your input!
