Hello

For years I have been a keen contributor to panoramio. Sadly google have decided to close, and so was looking for a method of hosting my photographs with similar features to panoramio without having to payout more money.
I found piwgo though the Shotwell application, and as I already have web hosting, I decided to give piwigo a look.

I followed the instructions, which were clear and concise, I setup a DB with my service provider and voila done job.
Only hiccup along the way, was the MySQL DB which took a while to go active.
I have installed a few plugins, I am using the OSM plugin and RV earth to display on a global format.

I am very pleased with results so far.
