Translation and theme/plugin development
Hi
Want to clarify on the process
I have few themes/plugins
When I look at lang files for the theme there is very little translated - GreyDragon Theme - http://piwigo.org/ext/extension_view.php?eid=775
I suspect because theme was not parsed in a while
how to trigger theme refresh or see what translate tool status is ?

Above is not the problem
Problem is that lang file only translates 10 strings
Admin area has much more text

I was hoping it is automatic, but I guess not
If I remember correctly there was some sort of tool which can parse code and/or templates and generate file
was I dreaming?

yes it's a dream sorry !
you must update EN file when you add key in other file.
if you add key in the EN file, the translate tool is automatically updated

Yes it's a dream. Tools from gettext can help you but the generated file is not the attented ones. :-(
