Dear Piwigo Friends,
I would like to know if it is possible to use HTML tags in the descriptions of photos. I was not able to find anything addressing this capability on a forum or google search.
I initially just want to style text: text-align:center, for instance.

From include/config_default.inc.php:
// allow_html_descriptions : authorize administrators to use HTML in // category and element description. $conf['allow_html_descriptions'] = true;
So it should work out of the box for admin users.

Your reply encouraged me to return to the photo and see just what I had done... I had attempted to center a BLOCK of text using a SPAN tag. Maybe, if I had included the code you would have had a good laugh at my expense. I changed it to a DIV tag, and not surprisingly it worked as advertised. Mea culpa.
Thanks for encouraging me to put my brain in a gear other than reverse!
