Hello/Hi/Greetings,
right now, test install with filezilla and current piwigo version
mysql error and no tables created:
Warning: mysqli::mysqli(): (28000/1045): Access denied for user 'u266817418_jdd'@'10.1.2.62' (using password: YES) in /home/u266817418/public_html/piwigo/include/dblayer/functions_mysqli.inc.php on line 67
Warning: mysqli::set_charset(): Couldn't fetch mysqli in /home/u266817418/public_html/piwigo/include/dblayer/functions_mysqli.inc.php on line 103
used utf8_unicode_ci, but same error with other codes
Piwigo version:
PHP version: 5.6
MySQL version: mariadb 10.0
Piwigo URL: http://
Well... it may be still useful to know what don't works, but The hosting service provide piwigo with an auto-installer and this works. If instructed, I may be able to fetch from this install what are the differences?
thanks
jdd

Th data base / user creation is made by a cpanel like system, so I was thinking the grants was done. I don't have this very install at hand right now, but this hint did me the solution for the problem I had on my local server, so very useful, thanks
sometime, fixing one problem I forget something that get a new one :-(

Just a note to say that hostinger do *not* gives really infinite storage. One can't have more than 100Gb data, so my 250+ photo/video gallery don't fit and I had to stop my hostinger work (and be refunded).
But I could go to o2switch and there piwigo seems to run very well (future will say)
thanks for help
