Hello/Hi/Greetings,
I have installed piwigo, everything works perfect on the computer browser, and the iOS app is working perfect for users that are Administrators. If a normal user connects through the app the front showing folders, are only showing folder names and not 'decorated' with part of a photo from that folder. THe folder structure is also flat, in the sense that all folders and subfolders are shown. For the administrators only root level folders are shown, and clicking on a folder will show subfolders all with thumbnails on the front.
I don't know whether this is a bug, or I can configure things diferently on the server. I would prefer that not all my users had to be administrators.
Piwigo version: 2.8.1
PHP version: 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.30
MySQL version: 5.1.63-0ubuntu0.10.04.1

Hi,
I think that I have excatly the same problem. The folder structure is also flat in the iOS App, but not on the Website. Here the tree structure is fine, also with a "standard" user.
But for me, the "problem" only occurs if I activate the "Community Plugin". If I deactivate this Plugin, the tree structure is also fine in the iOS App. So there seems to be something changed with the activation of this plugin. But I don't know what. So do you also have the "Community Plugin" installed? And if you just deactivate it for a test, do you then also have the "normal" tree structure inside the iOS App?

I've performed some tests with Piwigo 2.9 and the iOS app.
Indeed, there clearly is an issue with the Community plugin.
That is added to the list of issues on GitHub for the developers.

The 2.1 release of Piwigo Mobile for iOS is now available and brings compatibility with the 2.9.a Community extension.
Enjoy!
PS: We would appreciate some help for translating the app before the next release.
Thank you.
