log of errors here: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/~paka/piwigo.2.9.1.errs.txt

By the way, 2.9.1 is the first version for which Piwigo 2.9 users will (or already have) received the update notification email directly from their Piwigo. And that's great!
Indeed, I was pleasantly surprised by that. Although I read the mail only after I already upgraded ;-)
Thanks. And thanks for all Piwigo.

My greatest frustration with this release, and those of recent minor releases is the painfully long time that it takes to upload pictures. I have been so frustrated that I have opted to use other. It takes 4 hours to upload 100 pics; this is not sustainable and makes piwigo a novelty item for hosting a small number of photos.

Hi :-)
Isn't related to piwigo but to server characteristics.

Sounds like an issue with your server or configuration. 100 pics uploaded through all of my Piwigo systems (10 different servers) takes a few minutes. (and some are in-house reused old desktop PC's)
