Greetings,
My contact form does not work. I have done some tests, and they show that I receive the mail, if the "Send copy to my email " is not checked.
Otherwise I do not receive the message.
Is there anything to do about that?
A solution will be very much appreciated.

Sorry, I searched the forum for this subject (twice) and found nothing.

Really? Twice? That's interesting that you found nothing because I found a bunch of topics in a few seconds. Some even have the same title as yours.

Even if you didn't find anything, you should post follow-ups in your original topic. Over there, I said you need you check your logs. If you don't know how, then ask your admin.
Also, since this is a Piwigo extension, you should post in the SUPPORT/EXTENSIONS section to get attention from the right people.

I'm afraid I'll have to find another CMS meant for amateurs.
I have asked support on my webhotel before I wrote here, and this is what they said (briefly translated from danish)
"Our technicians have examined your mail form on the website and, as far as they can tell, it works when the mail specified by the user on your website is taken by the form and used as "From" address in the message sent.
This is the reason why it does not work. Mailforms which are running on websites at One.com _must_ use the "From" address found in the mail administration on the same domain. We have previously allowed this rule to be broken up to 20 times per day. This has now changed to 0.
The way you typically want to solve it is to use an email form where you as owner can choose "From" and "To" addresses, while the form then takes over the user's entered address as "Reply to ". As far as we can see, however, this can not be set in your current plugin to mail formular. Our best bet is why you or your website developer will see if you can modify this plugin in a way that we can not see, otherwise we may refer to finding another email form plugin to use instead. "

maybe configure this?
// define the email of sender mail: if value is empty, webmaster email is used
$conf['mail_sender_email'] = '';
i don't really understand what your host is saying.
but you saying you are an amateur ... why don't you use piwigo own hosting service?
https://piwigo.com/plan , i think you can have your "owndomain.com" hosted there.
plg will manage this kind of stuff for you, you will have a far better technical support then a general hosting service like one.com
