Hi community,

after almost ten month using ImageMagick GPS to get GPS coordinates synced to database, I realized today, that GPS sync did not work anymore. After some tries to find error, I uninstalled the plugin and when I tried to reinstall it, I get the following error: "To install this plugin, you need to install imagick PHP extension before."

I am surprised I cannot install the plugin, because I had no problems with the dependency before.

Can anybody please tell me, how to get the plugin installed? If any informations are missing I will try to hand them in later.

make sure imagemagick is installed properly

your hint brought me on the right track.

ImageMagick was not the problem, here Piwigo was right and the showed version of ImageMagick was isntalled and working properly.

What was missing was the Imagick extension in my webserver, which was not loaded.

I added the line in php.ini and I could install the plugin without errors.

Could you save me some time and tell what did you add to php.ini ?
And which php.ini - global or in the main gallery folder?

I have the same issue. I saw the solution somewhere but now can't find it : (
something like imagick.co in php.ini
