Evening.
My site has several thousand hill pictures indexed by number - some are duplicates. When a search is made for example 1963 (a specific hill) the search produces any number containing 1963 e.g. 31963 11963 etc. whereas I only want to see 1963 hill numbers in the search.
It would not be too bad if my 1963 came 1st in the search results but the results are sorted by date uploaded.
The Piwigo help team have been very helpful and are looking into including this feature in a future version.
Does anyone know a way around this problem in the short term?
Thanks.
This is the 1st time I have used a Forum so apologies if I have made any mistakes.

Hi,
I have exactly this problem on Piwigo.com. How can you search for a filename exactly? i.e. 192.jpg without getting every file that includes 192 e.g. 34192.jpg etc.
Was this ever resolved?

Hi,
Using 192 or '192' produces every file with 192 in its filename so I will get 23192, 19267 etc. I am wondering if there is a way to do an exact search which will only produce 192 which is a unique number in my collection.
I am using Piwigo.com and a windows 10 machine to view the website using Firefox.
