Exif data fallback

Hello/Hi/Greetings,

Can you please advise me how to configure the following: I want to read the lens metadata from am image. If that is not präsent I want to get the focal length. Is there such a fallback mechanism implemented in the exif parsing of piwigo?

Thanks for your advice

Re: Exif data fallback

Focal length is already built in to Piwigo. Just enable exif in your options.

Showing lens metadata might require some hackery.

Re: Exif data fallback

Hi,

Focal length and lens information is currently being displayed.

I try with an example:

This photo (due to some minor incompatibility) has the lens information not set: https://reisishot.pictures/picture/228/ … /portfolio
This picture has all information set: https://reisishot.pictures/picture/105/ … /portfolio

The bootstrap darkroom theme has the possibility to change strings. In this case I could change the empty string with the correct lens information.

As the problem is only using 2 focal lengths (105 and 147) I would like to get the Strings "105" respectively "147" and using string replace (bootstrap darkroom feature) to get the correct information. I hope I explained myself better this time.

With "fallback" I meant: "When lens information is not available, I want to have focal length in this field". Is there a syntax like "lens|focal_length" for configuring the meta data read, which gives me the focal length if the lens is not set.

Thanks for your help!
