Re: Smarpocket (mobile theme) improvements

nice blog post , and this htm5media js library sounds good.(very similar to jplayer btw)
Now, back to the smartpocket theme, it is relying on photoslide, and if today you try to insert any link in themes/smartpocket/template/thumbnails.tpl for example , photoslide will apply all its css/js magic to it.
I could bypass this behavior using target"_blank" so that the mobile browser tries to load the video itself. (see http://piwigo.org/bugs/file_download.ph … p;type=bug)

All in all, if you think you can trick photoslide to let it load something else than a picture, or if you plan to "unload" photoslide when a video is being browsed in a category; I guess that should work.

Could you please share with us how you plan to add this "support video" feature ?
thanks in advance !

Re: Smarpocket (mobile theme) improvements

okay I get it
Handling special format could be done the way you described it
We have also to enable the picture page, and put a link to that page from photoslide

Re: Smarpocket (mobile theme) improvements

right, supporting the picture page is certainly something to address first .

yep, I wonder how to do that properly though...  but I'm a php/js n00b anyway :-)

Don't know yet ^_^ I don't know exactly how the script applies on the contents

Re: Smarpocket (mobile theme) improvements

Hi ,

Great theme , can I request a couple of features

1. Button to switch between mobile/desktop at top of page, not the bottom
2. Social Buttons plugin integration (i.e. facebook like)
3. Page Title option (currently seems to use the gallery title)

Many thanks

Paul

Re: Smarpocket (mobile theme) improvements

I would like to be able to manually set the text at the top of the page (where the home button and Identification & login buttons are located)

This currently displays the gallery title text, which is set at options - main - gallery title

By changing the gallery title text I then affect the non-mobile version

I can add some screen shots later if this is still not clear.

Re: Smarpocket (mobile theme) improvements

Hello

I would like a better menu to login in the mobile theme.

My members are a lot to complain about the current way where we have to look for the login page in a too deep menu.

Re: Smarpocket (mobile theme) improvements

Hi: I'm attempting to integrate the Smart Pocket theme with my web site.

Smart Pocket has a very nice pop out type menu, which is very much like the menu
I use on my site.

I built my site with wyswyg web builder which allows J Query panel menus.

I would like to be able to add to the Smart Pockets menu links going back to the main web site
Also would like to be able to add thumbnail icons to the menu.

Check out my web site menu at https://www.relentlessknives.com/yourknife.html

and the Piwigo install at https://www.relentlessknives.com/avkpics .

In the themes area where you select themes for Piwigo, there is a screen shot

of the Smart Pocket theme. That screen shot is exactly what i have in mind.

The clickable menus have icons that are actually thumbails.

I realize the responsive  themes are doing away with JQuery but sites built with it in my opinion allow the end user a quick easy and fun experience, so I really want to continue with it.

I don't know how to write code, but have built my web site for many years.

Any help would be appreciated, and Thanks for a Great product .

Re: Smarpocket (mobile theme) improvements

I'm having problem seeing images in "View in: Mobile"-view on mobile "Huawei Mate 20 Pro".
If i switch to "View in: Desktop" then everything looks great.

The problem can be recreated on "piwigo.org/demo".  ( look at screenshot 1 and 2 )

Is it a bug in Android 9 ( EMUI 9.0 ) or a bug in Piwigo ? Have tried Google Chrome, Opera and other browsers...

Best regards
Rune

Re: Smarpocket (mobile theme) improvements

Same problem as Raarset/Rune, I host a friend's website plus its piwigo gallery, and two persons sent a report for the exact same issue, one with an Huawei Mate 20X phone, the other with a Samsung Galaxy 10.
