Hello All.

I'm new to piwigo and enjoying learning.

My goal is to implement a website for family and friends to view about 400 existing albums currently situated at Google.  All the albums also live on one of my FreeNAS servers.

I have installed Piwigo 2.9.5 in a FreeBSD jail with nginx, mariadb104, and php73.  All seems to be working nicely.

Using the FreeNAS MountPoint facility for jails, I mapped some test albums to the /gallery directory and performed "quick local synchronization".  The test albums showed up nicely.  So, I will be able to create my site without actually moving or recreating any files.  But, what about the descriptions?

I have all the album data (dates, locations, descriptions, ...) in text and xml files.  How might I get the album descriptions imported with the albums or subsequently?  I've searched the forums, but haven't yet found a method.
