Hello/Hi/Greetings,
I'm having trouble uploading photos to my piwigo install and I am wondering if it is a permissions thang. But I can't find anywhere in the docs that specifies where the photo files are located once uploaded. Since we're probably talking gigabytes of data, I rather hoped this info would be specified somewhere.
I guess a simple "find / -name..." command will do the trick, but even for me, that's old school :-)

Uploads done with the Upload Manager or by API (so not ftp and sync) end up under the ./upload/ directory, sorted into folders by year/month/day and having file names of yyyymmddHHMMSS-hash.*
Make sure the user the web server is running as has the necessary permissions in ./upload/
Otherwise elaborate on "having trouble" ...

Thanks! Explains a lot, and double-thanks for the links. I was having trouble uploading, which I now think was mebbe spaces in filenames. Seems a very old-fashioned restriction, but then, I am old, so no probs. :-)
