Error saving configuration.

Hello/Hi/Greetings,

I am having an issue with the Piwigo gallery. When I go into the Administration/Configuration/Options, and make a change to something, then click 'save', I get: This page isn’t working leojr.us is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500

I check the error.log in the root dir, and see this message occur each time I click save.

[24-Nov-2019 12:24:17 America/New_York] PHP Warning:  require_once(maincore.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/leojr491/public_html/error.php on line 19
[24-Nov-2019 12:24:17 America/New_York] PHP Fatal error:  require_once(): Failed opening required 'maincore.php' (include_path='.:/opt/alt/php72/usr/share/pear') in /home/leojr491/public_html/error.php on line 19

I've spoke to Hostpapa, my webhost. They said Piwigo is required to use php7.2, which it is set for. Other than that, I need to contact Piwigo support. Not happy that they like to pass the buck off on someone else. Their support agent told me they have no 'maincore.php' on the server, contact Piwigo.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

-Leo

Re: Error saving configuration.

Piwigo has no file error.php nor does Piwigo require a file maincore.php. Check what your /home/leojr491/public_html/error.php file actually is, where it comes from / belongs to and why it is called and what it tries to do but fails. My assumption is that is an error handler installed in your hosting that tries to handle some error and then fails in itself, hence the last resort error 500.
