Hello!

It is possible to set up image permission per user and not "groups".

I have a large collection, I use smart albums, and i have two user: my mother, and my mother in law. Both are in the "family" access level.

I'd like to set up some picture, that my mother can see, but my mother in law can't.

(the collection level is not working because i use smart albums)

any help are wecome.

in order to avoid performance issues, we added the permission per picture as a pyramidal system only, but the permission per album is normal.
The options I'm seeing here are
- create more levels of permission (privacy per pic) and sort your users from more trusted to less
- create several album trees per 'family branch' : pictures are first associated to all the versions of the new album then you review each album version to dissociate the problematic pictures. When someone is viewing a picture, he gets all the review, comments etc even from members who are accessing that picture from a different album tree

the first one is easy but less versatile
the second one is versatile but requires more effort
