Looking for a way to schedule a synchronization.
Hello/Hi/Greetings,
I would like to schedule a nightly sync of my database with my gallery. I am not sure how to do that right now. Can it be done with the existing system? Something I can put into the cron table and forget about.
Piwigo version: 2.10
PHP version: 7.2
MySQL version: 5.7

Hi Alex,
I like the idea, but it would be cool to take this even further, into a gui friendly marco add-on.
For example:
- start sync
- create checksum
- change sort order (as this is not maintained when you to a sync :-( )
either there should API's (REST) to access these functions, but I don't know if these are exposed, as I'm not a programmer...

UNIX has a cron table. Guess I should be lobbying the developers for a routine that can be placed into the cron table. Nightly a 02:30 would be good.
