Hello/Hi/Greetings,

Have I missed something. I'm looking for a directory upload. I'd like to bring in hundreds of photos in many directories at once. Did I miss something in the documentation:

Piwigo version: 10.2
PHP version: 7.2
MySQL version: 5.7

You've missed a trick there alright.

Upload your folders via FTP to your gallery, then in the admin area use synchronise to add them to your Gallery.

No spaces in filenames, so you might need some kind of renamer for that. I use advanced renamer

That's your starting point.. after you synchronise these albums will be classed as "physical" to move them around and make sub albums etc. You'll need to add the extension to make those albums "virtual".

Hey, does that synchronize install those photo's into the images database?
I am under the impression that the only way to get them to the images table is to use the install procedure.....

I don't know what install procedure you are talking of but yes, the sync step adds albums and images to the database.
