Piwigo 11.1.0 plugin incompatibilities? Just what and why?
Hi,
Upgrade from 2.10.2 to 11.1.0 went smoothly, apart from deactivating most plugins and some themes..
I reactivated a bunch of them and went to their settings that revealed no quirks and they also seem to work so far. Are there means to determine if and why and where a plugin is really incompatible? Or is it just the "we don't know yet and it doesn't have this version's compatibility flag" and just poking around may reveal?
Plugins that appear to work despite the warning and some spoil the Admin page's menu:
Automatic Size
Fotorama
GThumb+
Log Failed Logins
Most Commented
Prune History (discovered a long standing bug though, I'll follow up on that in a separate topic)
RV Akismet
RV DB Integrity
VideoJS (at least the player part)

Since the incompatibles are not listed prior to upgrading to 11.1, is there a list out there that shows what they are? I read where gdthumb seems to be working? What about:

Hi,
maybe i am blind, but I do not see the plugin hint before I hit the "upgrade button".
Where schould this be displayed, I only see "Dump Database" and "Upgrade".

Same here! 'Dump Database' and 'Upgrade to 11.1.0'. The list of plugin incompatibles is gone!

After all this time I just managed to run update on my local test install. And the warnings for various plugins are still here:
LinkedPages
OpenStreetMap
physical2virtual
VideoJS
but after activating them manually everything still works fine.
So I assume I can safely ignore those warnings :-)

Because we have [extension by xbgmsharp] piwigo-videojs and [extension by xbgmsharp] piwigo-openstreetmap on Piwigo.com version 11, let's mark them as compatible with Pwigo 11.
