.tif .tiff unsupported file extension

Hello there. I've been searching through this problem and have read the FAQ, but still, I can't see what I am doing wrong. I hope you'll help me to figure it out.

Subj: when I upload tiff (or tif) images, they don't show up (nor the thumbnails); when I check it via direct link, it writes: "[Image] unsupported file extension".

Here is my environment:
Piwigo 11.4.0 Check for upgrade
Operating system: Linux
PHP: 7.4.11 (Show info) [2021-04-15 08:47:22]
MySQL: 5.5.5-10.4.15-MariaDB [2021-04-15 08:47:22]
Graphics Library: External ImageMagick 7.0.10-10

Here is my LocalFiles Editor plugin:
<?php

$conf['enable_i_log'] = true;

$conf['picture_ext'] = array('tif', 'tiff', 'TIF', 'TIFF', 'jpg','JPG','jpeg','JPEG','png','PNG','gif','GIF');
$conf['file_ext'] = array_merge(
  $conf['picture_ext'],
  array('tiff', 'tif', 'mpg','zip','avi','mp3','ogg','pdf')
  );
$conf['enable_formats'] = true;
$conf['format_ext'] = array('cr2', 'tif', 'tiff', 'nef', 'dng', 'ai', 'psd');
$conf['tiff_representative_ext'] = 'jpg';

$conf['graphics_library'] = 'ext_imagick';
$conf['ext_imagick_dir'] = '/opt/alt/alt-ImageMagick/usr/bin/';
$conf['newcat_default_status'] = 'private';

?>

Here are my permissions: https://imgur.com/a/kUaoEOS

And here is my ImageMagick version:
-bash-4.2$ /opt/alt/alt-ImageMagick/usr/bin/magick --version
Version: ImageMagick 7.0.10-10 Q16 x86_64 2020-07-09 https://imagemagick.org

Delegates (built-in): bzlib cairo fftw fontconfig freetype heic jbig jng jpeg lcms ltdl lzma openexr pangocairo png rsvg tiff webp wmf x xml zlib

Any thoughts on what might be wrong?

Re: .tif .tiff unsupported file extension

Hello

Tiff are not displayable in web browser, so it can't be used as "picture_ext" ; it should be handled as "file_ext" only
then Piwigo should use Imagemagik to convert it to jpeg

format_ext is for using 'pwg_format' sub-directory

Re: .tif .tiff unsupported file extension

Tif thumbs was an issue on my installation as well. The only workaround that I think fixed the issue was to downgrade to the External ImageMagick 6.9.10-23. Give it a try, and if it does not work for you I can help you further, as I have a working installation. Good luck.

Cheers!
