How do you pronounce it?
Newbie question here ... how do you pronounce Piwigo? I knew how to pronounce "Gallery" ;-)
Pee-Wee-Go?
Pi-Wi-Go?
Some combination of those?

at least in french that's how it sounds

Is the accent on the middle syllable? So pee-WEE-go, or PEE-wee go?
(a moot point, I know, but I'd like to think at least internally I'm sounding it out correctly in my head)

I have never heard it pronounced by anyone in authority!
My interpretation is that an English-speaker (as opposed to a Frenchman;) would say
Pi-Wi-Go
(with short 'i' and emphasis on the first syllable)...

that's how it sounds in french too, like "kit". In fact I thought windracer wrote "Pi Wi" to be like "life"/"pie"

From the moment I saw the name I automatically pronounced it Pih-WEE-go, but is there an official pronunciation?

Piwi looks like kiwi, so I say it like that. short staccato, and no syllable emphasis. Almost as one syllable.

I think the brits draw it out more, though ... keeeee-weeeeee
