Upgrade from 2.10.2 with 11.x to 11.1.0 archive?
Hello,
Just want to ask is there is any archive from Piwigo 2.10.2 to 11?
Because I always use the upgrade archive and not the full.
This is also because I want to know which files are changed, as I have some custom files as well.
The first 11 version seems to be the 11.1.0 but this mentions only:
If you're running Piwigo 11.x you can also download the 11.x_to_11.1.0.zip archive that contains all new and modified files. Once you have extracted the files, transfer them onto your web server with a FTP client over your Piwigo 11.x installation. No database upgrade is required.
So .. is there any 11.x version?
At the moment not sure if I want to upgrade as some extensions I use are NOT compatible.
Which means I have to stick to the 2.10.2 version .... :-(
PS ... should 11.x_to_11.1.0.zip not be 11.0.x to 11.1.0?
Does this include you can downgrade from say 11.2 to 11.1.0?

I don't think so, it's a cross-branch upgrade.

Modifications to distributed files are best organized as patches, ideally in a source code version control system like git, that can be applied after an upgrade. Then "only" merge conflicts have to be resolved and the new results' changes be committed. And it wouldn't matter much which upgrade method was chosen, automatic update or full.

No, there are 11.[0-5].0 versions.

Depends on which extensions. Some are just still lacking a compatibility flag but work nevertheless. There are some threads in the forum.

No, the branch naming from version scheme changed, see https://github.com/Piwigo/Piwigo/blob/5 … .php#L2087

I doubt downgrading is supported between any versions as database tables may change in between. You'd have to inspect install/db/* files added by newer releases whether those changes would be compatible with the older release.

I gone try this weekend and see what result I get ...
Didn't check the github, because on the website itself there is no 11.0.0 version.

Wow .. that went smooth, so now on 11.5.0 version :-)
The only plugin what is not 'compatible' is:
RV sitemap
I really hope for an update on this ... would like to see an automatic sitemap generator which does this periodicity (once a week or month).
