Hello community!
After a long search, we believe that Piwigo can do the job we need to do. Big congratulations to you guys!!!
But we have a small and very important need and we have not been able to find a solution in the documentation or in this forum, so we decided to consult you... please read this long text.
In a few days we will take pictures of a big bike race. Then we will upload to the server about 20,000 images and a team of people (from their homes in different cities and for this reason we cannot perform a pre-labeling) will tag them with the numbers of the participants that appear in the photos so then they can search themselves by their own number.
"The highest priority is to do the tagging in the shortest time possible" but the available way (batch manager -> single mode) takes many clicks :(
To optimize this important step we think of 2 options:
1) In Batch manager -> Single mode modify or add some code so that the large images appear instead of their thumbnails. In this way we could avoid having to zoom in (and close it) the thumbnail to be able to read and take note of the small numbers. We could save at least 40K clicks!
2) To be able to tag directly on the Photo Page since the image is large there. There is a plugin called User Tags that apparently enables this function but we cannot find it through Admin -> Plugins to be able to test it and its Support's topic is unfinished.
So, is it possible to carry out any of these options? Or some other way? We only need the large images to avoid zooming and at least the Tags field.
We greatly appreciate your help in advance.
PS: we are testing version 11 here at https://lenyman.piwigo.com

Re 2) the User Tags plugin is available under Admin -> Plugins, tab Other plugins available (unless you already installed it..). If you enter User Tags in the Filter field.

Oh, I overlooked you're using piwigo.com, then disregard what I wrote, that's for self-hosted instances. For piwigo.com questions please contact their support, https://piwigo.com/contact

Wow... I never thought there was any difference...
Today I will install it on the new hosting... fingers crossed.
EDIT: I did the installation and see what happened in this topic
Meanwhile .... Do you think the option to touch the CSS is viable to avoid the thumbnails (Batch manager -> Single mode)? I think it is a good and better option to be able to tag many images at the same time :)
