Hello/Hi/Greetings,

I am using the Modus theme which has a bar across the top of each page containing menus for the site;  recently there seems to have been a change in the format and contents of the menu items displayed but I have no idea as to what caused the change.

I would like to go back to the previous layout or to change the current contents.

In the admin menu there is an item Configuration>Menus  which appears to offer the ability to display/hide menu items and change their order.  Whatever I try to change seems to have no effect.

I have also tried installing the "Advanced Menu Manager" plug-in.  I find the interface almost incomprehensible but have tried a few changes - again with no effect except that at one point I lost all menus.

I would be grateful for any suggestions or explanations.
