Hello,

There appears to be a bug with the SmartAlbums plugin.

New smart albums are not displaying in the gallery thumbnail view but do appear in the album drop down list from the top menu bar.

The issue is that the SmartAlbums plugin no longer automatically creates a thumbnail for new albums.

I'm not completely sure when this started as it's been a while since I created a new smart album. I updated all my plugins and Piwigo today.

Here's how to replicate the issue:

1. Create a new album.
2. Enable the SmartAlbums functionality in the album.
3. Add a filter that assigns some photos to the album.
4. Check that the count shows some photos. Then save the album.
5. Try to find the album in the gallery thumbnail view.

The workaround is quite simple. Just click on the empty thumbnail in the album on the properties page and then click the "refresh thumbnail" option.
