Hallo,

Hmmm ... again an issue with 12.2.0?

After I uploaded a photo to a certain album I was not able to find it anymore.
In the end it was NOT in any album at all.

I checked again, after upload (Web Form) I get:
1 photos uploaded
Album "Events / 2021 Louwman Museum (Holland)" now contains 295 photos

But if I open the photo itself it clearly does NOT display any entry in "Linked albums".
The album itself says: Home / Events / 2021 Louwman Museum (Holland) [294]

Am I doing something wrong? I do select an album when adding photo and also report it...

Webupload with community-plugin takes a lot of time. Admin can find the picture, but can´t see it in the category. After minutes the pictures is showing.
Upload with ftp or pLoader works fine. The picture is showing instantly.

Interesting, so thanks.

However if I change the Linked albums, which is empty, and assign to an album this is instantly done.
The upload give a progress bar and when finished gives the result, which is correct.
But open the photo itself give a blanc Linked albums field....

I will test again tomorrow but think its a strange behaviours as I didn't have this before (with 11.5.0 or lower version). So in my opinion, something is wrong.

Okay, I can confirm that after some time (I waited 10 minutes but could be less) the photo is in the album.

Question is, what changed this behaviour from 11.5.0 to the 12.2.0 version?
In 11.5.0 it was instantly and now it's not ... :-(

Is there any chance to fix it, Piwigo-Team? Is it a bug or do we have to wait for a new community-plugin? Or is it something other?

I cannot imagine this is a plugin problem, as it just part of Piwigo itself. What I understand is that they change the way photos/uploads are handled, especial for batches (multiple files/photos). However I just upload photo by photo (one at the time) and it just takes ages to get in the album. In the end it's quicker to just manually assign the album.

I do say it's confusing to use the word "plugins".

Because within the admin you have the plugins section, and this (upload) mechanism is not there.
But even if it's an plugin, it's core part of Piwigo, right? And not visible under plugins...

I really hope they gone do something about it :-(

I would need some details:

* was the web upload performed in the administration or in the gallery (with plugin Community)?
* which theme is used in the gallery? (the default one "Modus" or something else like "Bootstrap Darkroom" ?)

For me: it's in the default Piwigo admin, under Photos, Add, Web Form.

The them I use for the website itself is 'BlancMont XL' but has noting to do with the admin Web Form.

PS .. there is also a question about the theme use with admin itself, as there is NO control over it (see about tags field in one of my other posts).

Bootstrap Darkroom 2.5.2 fixes the problem (for those using the photo upload form provided by plugin Community)
