With the Batch Manager you can filter for images based on various criteria, and then apply an action on a selection of the result, including moving to an album. However, that associates an image with an album, it does not physically move the image file and if the origin is a physical album then the image will still belong to that album as well. Removing the original album association is only possible if the album is virtual. You can virtualize, i.e. convert from physical album folder to virtual album, which is a once-and-forever step.
