Hello!
Is it possible to remove the "Downloads" link/button added to the top menu after enabling the Batch Downloader plugin?

ok I noticed that if I go into Batch Downloader's settings, and then manually delete the zip file which was created earlier by username = guest...the "download" link in the main menu disappears. It is visible in the "Download history" tab there.
However, I want that "Download" link in the main menu to not appear in the first place.
IMHO, it should appear in the sub-menu, maybe on the albums page, notifying the users that a download option is there.

Hi :-)
(when menu is show)
Go to administration > Configuration > Menus

Thanks for chiming in :-)
Which one of these should I disable (see screenshot below)?
I have tried disabling all menu items. but the "downloads" in the menu still shows up. Do I have to do something in the plugin's configuration for an additional menu item to show up?

You're reload page menu ?

yes I have refreshed that page many times.
I also cleared the browser cache, rebooted my PC, but it did not make the menu item you mention appear.
Is there something I need to enable in the Batch Downloader plugin configuration?
I did check, but I do not see any settings which will make the download menu item go away
I also checked the Advanced features, nothing there also
Any other thing I should check?

Have you test desactivate / avtivate plugin

Thanks for that suggestion.
I just tried disabling that plugin.
With plugin disabled, the downloads menu link went away.
But when I enabled the plugin, the downloads menu link is back again

let me try uninstalling the plugin and re-installing it

interesting!
After re-installing the plugin "Batch Downloader"...... I got an red error message the moment I checked the orange enable slider/button. However, now it shows that it is enabled.
So I guess there is some problem.
Maybe that plugin needs an additional plugin?

Hello,
unfortunately I have the same problem with a new installation.
At the first activation of the extension there is an error. After that the extension can be activated, but nowhere the corresponding menu is displayed.
Does anyone have a workaround or solution for this?
Many greetings,
Dirk

Sorry to be that person, but you really need to look at the logs and post relevant parts.
Have a look in _data/logs but also at system logs if possible.
