Problem with mobile version after upgrade to 12.1

Hello,

after having updated to the lates version of Piwigo and also upgraded to PHP 8 I also activated the theme Pocket.

On my smartphone everything looks fine, the albums are shown - BUT: if you open an album every image crates an error message like

WARNING: undefined variable $row_height in .../theme on line 61

So I'll deactivate again the mobile version of my Piwigo - unless someone may tell me about the problems I have.

I must confess that I let activated the following plugins which may interfere with the Piwigo 12 version:
Header Manager
Language Switch Menubar
Perso Footer
Personal Favicon

My theme on non-mobile computers is also not "compatible" with the newest Piwigo, but I keep it - it is Montblanc; but that should not interfere the mobile Pocket theme.

Any ideas of my problem?

Greetings from Berlin

Re: Problem with mobile version after upgrade to 12.1

I also have the same problem. I can see albums, but no images on my -//:---\spam. PC works fine on the site.

I get: Warning: Undefined variable $row_height in /home4/Me/public_html/workingdir/themes/smartpocket/themeconf.inc.php on line 61

Strangely, another site (migrated this year) using the same themes and options does not give this error.

@naponline

Try downgrading to PHP 7.4.

I simply disabled the mobile version and the desktop version seem to work fine on my phone...

Re: Problem with mobile version after upgrade to 12.1

Is there still no solution for this persisting problem? I would like to offer the images to users preferring the mobile clients.

I downgraded the PHP version but this will also be supported until 12/2022 - so hopefully there'll be a good mobile viewer for Piwigo.

That would be the final decision I'll take at the end of this year - if there's no mobile version available working fine with PHP 8.

What you want is a theme that works well on all devices. It's often called  "responsive". Not many Piwigo themes offer this, but the Bootstrap Darkroom definitely does (and it has many sub-themes to choose from).

The smart pocket themes are very old afaics, and not required for a good mobile experience.
