How to trigger a php-fpm refresh after upgrading

Hi,

I have been trying to figure out why, after each upgrade, my piwigo installation still thinks it has the old version.  Today, I discovered the root cause is my php-fpm (caching) service needs to be restarted to pick up the environment variable changes.  I know that this is really not a piwigo issue but I was wondering if someone has seen this and has a solution when doing the web-based upgrade?

    Piwigo 12.3.0

    Graphics Library: GD 2.3.3

Re: How to trigger a php-fpm refresh after upgrading

$ sudo systemctl reload php-fpm

or

$ sudo systemctl restart php-fpm

(* at least on Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL variants)

I understand how to reload it using system commands (for me it would be svcadm reload php-fpm).  What I don't know is how to extend the web updater to run it.

Ah, I see.  Not sure that was clear in the original post.  Unfortunately, can't help you with that.
