Hit the wrong key
I was having trouble with my Piwigo, so I wiped my site, reupped the photos and the database. All seems to be working fine, except the upload button is not there. I have searched around in the admin area, but can't see where to upload.
Like I said, I should know this. And I did upgrade to the latest version

Your site's admin.php?page=photos_add or Admin -> Photos -> Add, Upload Photos tab Web Form, under Select files there's an Add Photos button to raise your browser's File Upload dialog and a Drop area to drag files to.

Not quite what I meant. Maybe I wasn't clear.
When I had the site running before, under the MENU heading, there was a button they could click and it would take them to the upload page. I am not seeing that button

Install the plugin Admin Tools and you will see the toolbar on top of the page. Only for admin.

That doesn't sit under a menu heading (whatever that might be in whichever theme) though. And if he's talking about they and them it sounds more like some community plugin thing. Anyway, I don't know what's meant.

When I had Piwigo installed before, users could register/login and then they could click a link that said UPLOAD PHOTOS. They would upload the photos and a e-mail would be sent to me to let me know that there was a new upload for me to post.
It is a adult site and people would upload their pictures for me to add

erAck is right : this is something to do with the plugin Community. Try installing it.
