Additional plugins at piwigo.com hosted

Hello,

I'm testing piwigo.com cloud-hosted now (trial). I see, that some configuration tabs are absent in comparison with self-hosted version (no additioinal plugin installation, local files edition, etc.). So, it's impossible to use some special plugins (like MugShot) and my own ones, there are no direct database access.

Does payed individual plan have the same limitations?

Piwigo version: Piwigo Hosted

Hi mage,

I think I just replied to your question on Piwigo.com support, but here my reply "publicly":

> I'm sorry but MugShot has bugs. As soon as I try to activate it, I get some immediate errors. Impossible to activate (not without modifying the code).

I just made the feedback to the maintainer of the plugin. We'll see if he needs some help on that :-)

Re: Additional plugins at piwigo.com hosted

Hello, plg!

Yes, it was my question, thank you for your answer!
When I tried to activate MugShot on self-hosted piwigo, I got an error too, but after 2-3 clicks on "Activate" it was activated (not the best solution, of course). There is one more bug, related to Imagick, which appears in some distros, I had to correct code a little to make it work (it couldn't generate thumbnails). [Github] Piwigo issue #268

I have a plan to add additioinal features to MugShot for better digiKam integration, but I see no way to install it on cloud-hosted piwigo, may be as non-public plugin.
