I use Piwigo to keep the extended family “in the loop”. They are mostly older relatives. I would like to make it easier for them to find new uploads when they log in. The site is only accessible for registered users.

Q1: Is there a way to list (or otherwise present) the images that have been uploaded to the site since the users last visit?

Q2: Is it possible to notify a user(group) by mail from the site backend that new content has been uploaded? Ideally some sort of push button that sends an email to everyone whom has access to the new album.
