Hello/Hi/Greetings,

First, I use a helper called Virtualmin / Webmin for maintaining my server. This has the ability to backup and restore web sites and all files needed. This has saved me in the past when I have managed to do a brain dead change. Restoring always puts the web site back to just how it was.

SO.

I upgrade the site to PIWIGO 13, turned back on the plugins, tested the page and everything worked.

I then switched to php8.0 - This worked perfectly for all my Joomla sites and one of my PIWIGO sites.

When I went in to test, the front page opened correctly, but as soon as I clicked an album to get to the 2nd lever albums all that happens is I get the message;

"Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server."

A typical 2nd level URL wis displayed as :

https://gallery-adult.soft-focus-imagin … ey-implied

BUT, if I make it

https://gallery-adult.soft-focus-imagin … ey-implied

(same issue happens with photo-page. Have to add a .php before ? mark

I spent an hour or two trying to work out what was wrong. The only real difference between the site that worked and this one, was I was not using permalinks on the site that worked. But I have 500 odd permalinks and it looks like the only way to delete them is one by one.

So I decided to go back to the original. Deleted the web site (by Virtualmin) and then restored the web site from a backup (Oct1).

Problem is, exactly the same error is happening  even though I'm now using PHP7.4 and PIWIGO 12

And no matter what I try, I just can not see what is wrong.

If anyone has any idea as to what could have happened and how to fix I'll be very grateful.
