Native LDAP authentification
Hello,
Would be so nice to get LDAP connectivity already in, I mean without any plugin to be sur to still have this ok even if there is a big update of the best gallery app ; Piwigo !!!!
may we have it quickly ?

If you hire a developer to work on it and contribute the code to Piwigo then probably yes.

It can be an official plugin delivered with Piwigo core.
The main problem to develop such plugin is to have a minimal LDAP server to test. I used some ldap servers to connect but I never install, configure and populate one with users !

Even that way, that's absolutely not sure such an authentication method would be integrated in Piwigo core.

If someone can help to initialize a ldap server, I can help develop that plugin.
But There's some plugin that start the process :

- https://github.com/freqsounds/piwigoplugin_ldap_login
The two last ones are forks for the former.
