Help with FTP settings
G-day!
I like uploading images through the piwigo app. No more syncing!
I only want to directly edit in my database. Piwigo lets me download csv files, but I am unable to upload through the piwigo app. I tried to log-in using Filezilla and Dreamweaver with no success. Here are my settings for FTP:
IP: 91.121.59.224

port: 21

Do you have a FTP SERVER installed? Who's the administrator of that?

Thanks for the reply to my post.
My set-up is truly unsophisticated. Piwigo is for personal use. No fancy server. Hosted on Piwigo servers. I am not a developer. I just want access to the back-end database so I can download, do bulk edits, than upload. I am using Filezilla and Dreamweaver. Prefer Filezilla.

then click on administration. It will get you to the backend admin UI of the server.
Login with your admin username and password.
AFAIK there are no FTP access to the piwigo-hosted servers.

Use one of phpMyAdmin or Adminer to directly edit the database, best placed in a .htpasswd secured directory. For quick short edits Adminer may be easiest as it consists of only one .php file. But that's in no way related to FTP upload/sync.
