Upgrade fails due to write-protected files.

Hello,

I am getting an upgrade error when I try to upgrade from 13.6.0 to 13.7.0. Snippet below and the full message over in Pastebin: https://pastebin.com/pFNQDTiM

Usually, upgrade are seamless, so I am not sure why I am getting this error all of a sudden.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Nick.

Re: Upgrade fails due to write-protected files.

I don't understand how Piwigo 13.7.0 could be in fault here: as far as I've seen, there is no change related to the update system.

It most likely is not.. Check the directories and files ownerships and permissions.

Re: Upgrade fails due to write-protected files.

Hello all,

Thanks for your responses. I came into work this morning and just checked it again and it now says its running the latest version. Very odd, so not sure how this could have happened but glad to be using the latest version now.

All the best,
Nick.

It can be the case only if you update include/constants.inc.php (which contains the version number). Make sure the other files have been updated too.

Re: Upgrade fails due to write-protected files.

Thank you, how do I check the other files, please?

Thanks,
