What is the difference in features
Hello/Hi/Greetings,
What is the difference in features between the self hosted and cloudversion? Can all features available for the cloud version also be on the self hosted version if you have the needed technical skills

What you have only on self-hosted "version":
* all plugins
* add photos by synchronization (after having files upload on your server)
What you have only on cloud-hosted "version":
* a system that converts MOV into MP4 files
Of course, on the cloud-hosted version, you have a completely different level of service where you can focus on using your Piwigo without worrying about installation/updates/backups.

Yes the service level is obvious but I was mostly interested in the rest, but it seems everything you can do on the cloud version you can also do on the selfhosted one. So time to install.
