My cloud provider sync- and backup routines filter my files on photo's and shows them in a "never ending" webpage with a scrollbar on the left of the page where you can select a date.
I do not use my cloud provider as a "photo album", I have Piwigo for that, but that scrollbar is really handy when you have an album (perhaps a smartalbum) containg all or many of your photos.
In seconds you can scroll/slide from say october 2024 to january 2001.
In the example I scrolled in a split second to 2016.
Is there a way (plugin) to implements such a scrollbar in Piwigo ?

Just discovered in Configuration / Options / Display the following two options:
Activate icon "Display a calendar by posted date"
Activate icon "Display a calendar by creation date"
They were disabled, but after enabling them, I had a good way to scroll through all the photos by year, month, week, and day. It works just as well as a date scrollbar.
