How to purge outdated thumbnails

Hello/Hi/Greetings,

I typically add photos to my Piwigo installation using the Flickr API plugin, and it normally works very well.  Occasionally, however, the images occasionally will not come in completely.  I recently had this happen a few times:

I went in and reuploaded corrected images directly to my Piwigo installation via tools in the "Photo Update" plugin.  It appears to have been successful.  However, I am still having problems with the old images' still showing through on the site.  I get the same result on multiple browsers and multiple computers.  I have tried just about everything that I can think of, and nothing has worked.  These old images look bad when they appear on the public site, and it reflects poorly on me.  How do I properly purge these bad images so that I never see them again?  Please advise.
