Hello! I read a few other threads related to this issue such as this one (https://piwigo.org/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=185075), but have yet to find a solution.

When I load a page for the first time and try to scroll down, my CPU usage shoots to 100% and often it becomes impossible to continue using my website. The main problems page I'm dealing with right now are these https://www.hilferty-garry.fyi/index.php?/category/20 and https://www.hilferty-garry.fyi/index.php?/category/21

I'm unable to find the php.ini file mentioned in the previous thread, though maybe I'm not looking in the right place? I disabled most of the alternate size options in my gallery (since I really don't need users to be able to download in 50 different sizes) in an effort to let imagemagick chill out but it didn't help.

Is there any way to either a) decrease CPU usage even if the loading times are still high or b) make the thumbnail generation happen client-side? Or even just front-load the thumbnail generation so that it happens as the image is uploaded, instead of all at once later on and making my server have a fit?
