Hello,
I am unable to upload .mp4 video files to my albums. Triggers an error. Installed VideoJS but still no upload.
Question: How and which videos can I upload?

I allowed upload of "any" type via LocalFiles Editor plugin:

$conf['upload_form_all_types'] = true;

This option adds more filetypes including .mp4 files.
This worked for me.

Thanks OHappyDay! This worked for me too. Just enabled the LocalFiles Editor and entered the line you told me about. Then saved the file and now I can upload movie-files.

Have you 'synced' the uploaded files with VideoJS after the upload?
The sync option updates the database and prepare video thumbnails.

Hello, I have everything in the Local files editor, when I want to add an mp4 to an album where I already have photos, it loads, a green OK appears, but nothing happens, the page stops and I have to cancel it. The mp4 is uploaded to FTP, however. I tried synchronizing but it doesn't do anything. Sorry for the bad English.

Have you tried to upload a short MP4 test video with the Upload command to verify your configuration (instead via FTP)?
