It would be very useful if photos in Piwigo could be updated after local metadata changes on the device. For example, when I change the description (or other metadata) of a photo in my local library, it would be great if the existing photo on Piwigo could be updated instead of having to re‑upload it manually.
The same applies when a photo is edited locally (cropped, adjusted, etc.): it would be helpful if the modified version could replace or update the existing photo in Piwigo, rather than creating duplicates or requiring manual work.
