Photo management software for non-profit organizations

I use Piwigo to share photos with other members of our fraternity. At the moment we have more than 8000 photos and some videos in our gallery, and it works good! The user management is a great advantage for us. Uploading photos is easy and fast. For our needs it is a very good solution.Congratulations on the 20th anniversary and thank you for the great work!

We are using Piwigo to let our members spot persons and locations on old photos of our Jazz Club which has been founded in 1978. As this works over the internet, we could establish a good work-flow and keyworded almost all of our archive photos with the help of our 300 members.

We are an all volunteer religious organization that produces lots of media. Piwigo is perfect to manage all of the images we produce as well as our own stock images used in production. The large plugin library allows us to use Piwigo in a way that exactly suits our workflow. And the ease of use means that not only can volunteers use the site with practically no training, but the administrative work in maintaining the site is negligible. And just like in any organization, it is the people behind it that makes Piwigo such an amazing resource.

Piwigo is a very high performance, very versatile gallery program. It offers a good selection of attractive themes. It also offers good technical support from it's staff and from fellow users.

With Piwigo's help we have put over 3,800 photos on our website to display the village and its people, both past and present and so it has become a history of our past, a record of our achievements. Piwigo enables us to link items together, in a time frame, and provide details through photo enlargements and text and be a depository for photos that can be used by all. Our school's children learn the history of the village and by the use of the quizzes learn about how to research subjects.

I discovered Piwigo quite a few years ago for personal local use. I then installed it at a hosting company where I made the photos I took at local events available to my commune. The French Swimming Federation has a huge collection of photos and videos. In discussion with our photographer, who couldn't find a satisfactory solution and thought it was a shame that this memory wasn't being used for our publications, I suggested that he give Piwigo a try. After a few adjustments and plug-in installations, it turned out to be a stable, customizable and crash-proof solution. Our employees now have a photo library worthy of the name.

I've been managing an album with sub-albums containing almost 5,000 photos for an association: it's top-notch! I used to use Google Picasa... Piwigo's operation and administration are much nicer, more interesting, customizable and clear! I have no regrets about choosing the Piwigo solution! Thanks for all your hard work!

As a member of basketball club in Rennes, I set up Piwigo to manage our team's many photos. Today, there are some 19,000 photos in public mode, and even more in private mode! and there's more to come. Managing albums and, above all, tags is a real pleasure, especially when it comes to easily finding the right photo to illustrate our website or create a specific poster or flyer. Private access also gives privileged access to our graphic designer, who can retrieve the original photos and work on them.
