Is it possible to ad an image to the header of the frontpage instead of just text?
And how do I do that.

Yes you can have an image to the header.
Go to administration web site
Configuration
General (the first item)
in the "Banner pages" you can capture this type of code : <div id="theHeader" style="padding:3px;"><img src="xx/xx.jpg"></div>
if you can the result go to my galery ;o)) http://www.photos.tarrajat.fr/

Ps: Sorry if my english is not great ;o))

Cool Man....
Thank You!!
If you go to the box where you would normally add text to the header,
Just add <img src="http://whereyourimageis.com/imagename.jpg">
It loads just fine.
That's what i did for the header image on:
http://www.scalereference.com
Upload the image you want to use as your header somewhere on the internet, and put the location of that file in the <img src="image">
to test your image to make sure it's typed correctly, just type the address (http://whereyourimageis.com/imagename.jpg" in the example above) in the browser, the image should show up.
