It seems that with ie 8 the rating system is gone. Seems to be in all themes.

+1
I confirm that point.
I didn't take time to analyze.
If someone might have a look on it, it will be appreciate.

Does the upgrade 2.0.2 solves the problem with the missing stars?

Check on demo... ;-) (I don't have IE8 here, I will check it this evening).

you can download only modified files from your current 2.0.x release.

I have checked the demo in IE8. On different PC's.
Sadly, in the demo are also the rating stars missing and are the thumbnails misplaced.
And for you, Vincent: http://www.sos-madagascar.org the same problem
Aguess: Perhaps is the CSS misunderstood by IE8, considering the misplacement of the thumbnails and because Firefox, Opera and Chrome don't have that problem.
I will be more than pleased if it can be fixed.
I don't know why.
Maybe rvelices has already an idea...
But he didn't solve it on his gallery:

Yes, but does your visitors know this solution?
No, IE does not tell them "Stars are missing, you should activate the Compatibility mode!"...

Indeed,
It is necessary to tell them.
So I placed some text to explain.
Thanks again for cooperative thinking.
